First Official Meeting
-Meeting started with a Power Point Presentation of what different chapters
of HFTP are like
-Kim--HFTP is great way to find sources to network
-Billy--Fundraising- We need to raise money in order to be able to take trips to
seminars (other chapters in DC and Philadelphia) We need ideas for possible
fundraisers...some ideas are
-Valentine's Day or Holiday-Grams
-Bowl-a-thon
-Joe Corby's Pizza
-Car wash in the spring
-Hershey's Candy Sale
-Silent auctions/dinners--possibly catered by Vita Nova
-Becky--There is a points system to be an active club member...points are
awarded for attendance at meetings and special events--Those with the most
points will be rewarded with a free trip to HITEC seminar
Diethra-Fundraising is key for our club to survive
We needed six people to be official, now we have them and we are on our way to
becoming an official club...WOO HOO!!!
